Webster Lab The Primate Evolution and Genomics Lab (PEGL)

Todd completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology before pursuing an M.S. in Bioinformatics at UNC Charlotte, where he studied climate adaptation and geographic stratification in the mosquito species Culex tarsalis. He is currently a Ph.D. student in PEGL, broadly interested in the polygenic selection and the genetic architecture of complex traits. His dissertation work focuses on developing a novel statistical method to detect polygenic selection using contemporary genomic and phenotypic data.
