Colin received his undergraduate degree in anthropology, botany, environmental science, and zoology from Miami University. He then compleged his PhD in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon, during which time he collaborated with Tim Webster and PEGL on research related to the evolutionary genomics of bonobos and chimpanzees. He is currently postdoctoral scholar in the Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute and Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at University of California San Francisco.
