Webster Lab The Primate Evolution and Genomics Lab (PEGL)

Beka graduated from the University of Utah 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After graduating, she joined PEGL, contributing to research investigating the population structure of Diademed sifakas. She was also involved in research reconstructing the ecological conditions of Pleistocene South Africa, working with Kathryn Sokolowski in Dr. Tyler Faith’s lab. Starting in the fall of 2026, she will begin a master’s program with Dr. Andrew Du at Colorado State University, pursuing interests in paleoecology.
